Why did you want the loud cold start back? All it does is heat up the catalytic converter faster for emissions purposes. I'm pretty sure my neighbors were glad to see it disappear on my car. lol

OTS Maps for ZA1JN10C (MY2018 US 6MT); v4.03

Created by: Anthony Cardinale for Shiv Pathak
Modified on: Sat, 5 May, 2018 at 8:13 PM
New v4.03 beta tunes now available for all USDM GT86s (including 2017+). They now have Launch Control and Flat-Foot-Shift (these features will need to be setup/adjusted at home)!

*** NOOB ALERT ***

Hi there,

i'm also a Ts 2018 owner, and was able to sucessfully push in stage 1 map.

Only thing i dont get right is where i can adjust or activate launch control and flat foot shift. Does it have to be ''activated'' trough romraider or it's possible via the OFT itselft?

Sorry if it's been asked millions of times, but i wasn't able to get a clear answer going trough the ''search'' option on the site...

launch control will work by default, it'll just be set way higher than it should be.

While we're on the topic, how do you lower the RPM's on the launch control? It's pretty much useless being set at 5,500.

It's a negative offset to the rpm fuel cut limit. OTS default is 7500 or 7600. So if you want your launch control to limit at about 2500 rpm just insert 5000 into the launch control table.

MY17 AT K00D E85 tune here. I've noticed that my rpms spike for a sec on a cold start when putting the car in gear. This causes an ever so slight jerk despite my foot on the brake. I suspect it's the multitude of "idle speed target" maps not matching and picking a different rpm once in gear.

Which of the 9 "idle speed target" maps are for what conditions and are they safe to modify? With cold start removed do they even need to be anything other than 700 across the board or is the higher rpms just for getting the engine up to temp? My intent is to make the maps for base start and in gear match so that there isn't a spike at cold start.

i dont think anyone knows which idle maps works at a spec time..usually you could put them all the same to have a standard controlled behaviour

Check the MAF OFFSET AFTER START tables are same ie the in gear and in neutral tables are same

After a bunch of low end tuning and dialing in my MAF and Engine Load Compensation fairly well, and raising my fueling to around 13 below 2200 to avoid bogging down, I couldn't find any advantage to the OFT raising those idle settings up. So I set mine all back to stock B01C (i.e. 650 RPM when fully warm).

I do believe you are on to something here. I checked this morning and with a cold start my rpm's jump to 2000 and back down when I put it in gear. None of my idle maps go any higher than 1200 and my MAF correction maps do not match. I'm assuming copying IN GEAR over NEUTRAL would be fine.
