I dunno about you guys, but 20K isn't cheap that's alot of money. Especially for the early twenties age demographic we have here. Should just be happy a car of that price point is provided, at this level of performance and interior I think 20K-22K for the Scion is very justified. I think they're hitting the target right on the spot. Just be patient no need to be hasty it's only one month before we get more info about options at least I hope so.

How do you figure they will blind people ? Let me guess you are going to toss out something to the effect of "the reflector alignment"

All that should be able to be adjusted or do what a lot of people in the IS300 community and others have done.

Open and paint the housings (headlamps)

But how do you know it is going to be in that range? If so I will be very happy, and I hope they will allow some of us who want more options to pay for them.

I just want to point out that this picture doesn't have an exhaust system. SCION Y U NO REMOVE EXHAUST FOR WEIGHT SAVINGS IN PRODUCTION MODEL????

Actually, now that I look at it again, it does... triangular-ish exhaust in the corners of the bumper (COMING OUT OF THE TIRES!!!!). I still say anything is possible if Scion put their mind to it. They could have made this car $10K cheaper with 200 more hp. EASY. All it takes is dedication and a will to win.

Yeah, noticed after I posted and edited...

Looks like they're messing with a tire-rubber/exhaust mixture seeing as the pipes apparently come right out of the tires

This car ain't gonna be 20k...oh I hope it will but I ain't getting my hopes up...

I actually like what they did...but they just scrimped out a bit on the details.

All they really had to do was add the hid headlights and push start and I think most people would have been happy...especially if this car is gonna cost at $24k to $25k.

Well at least we got led taillights...and the better suspension tuning compared to the BRZ...even that is debatable.

I kind of dont see why 20-24k is bad. Most people entering early 20s of age are either getting ready to graduate college or just graduated. Get a good job lined up and you should be fine granted you don't have other heavy financial obligations. That is my soon to be situation anyways i cant speak for the rest.

Though the problem is actually well... getting said job lol. A lot easier said than done. Most friends I have actually took over half a year to actually find a job. Whether its a solid job or not... well... who knows. Note, these friends are in the health science field and engineering.

Looking at the bigger picture about what this car is about, caring about HIDs and LEDs is pretty petty and quite missing the point. This car isn't about neeto-mosquito gizmos.
