My only concern is my shoulder. I injured it several years ago playing rugby and never fully recovered. If constantly shifting agitates my arthritis, I might not be able to own a 3 pedal car for very long.
I would still go with auto if it is one of the best sport auto's on the market. And all reviews make it out to be almost as perfect as a DCT.

Go with the manual and save $1000 in the process. You will thank me later. I would rather wait a few weeks/month longer to get a manual then get a auto and regret later.

Well there's one flaw with the auto, the gears are sorta widely spaced. But I like the super low 6th gear.

I went back and forth on this a million times before putting down the deposit. In the end, I had to look at the car's "mission" for me. Its going to be my daily driver, and I daily deal with stop and go commuter traffic, so its the auto for me.

I think the flappy panels is a good compromise, particularly given the videos I've seen.

If this was going to be a weekend driver or track car, no question, it would have ben the manual. Also, if I spent most of my time on windy, back roads, it would have been a manual.

In the end, any more it really is just a personal preference I think.

That isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I want to know why its a bad thing? The gears look like it has similar spacing to the manual.

i will get an automatic, i'm not shame to say it. all the reviews so far indicate the 6 speed auto's pretty good.

Just wondering; what's the point in getting an auto in a car that has 200 hp?

Why do you say this? I think I know where you are getting at with this.

200 hp feels much quicker with manual?
151 tq will feel much weaker with the auto vs manual?

I hope this isn't true at all but I believe this is what you're talking about right?

The next car I get will be a manual. This will be my first manual that I own, and am looking forward to it!

Manual, I drive a manual as myDaily driver in NYC, and I don't take
My car out to the track, so it's all low speed or highway driving. Like many have said once u learn stick it's just second nature. Id consider an automatic if just for convienence, but if I'm looking to drive a car with a bit of sportiness to it and to keep me more engaged than an auto will, I'd take a manual. Even in traffic manual is fun if your not stuck in your head worrying. So it all comes at experienc and how comfortable you are.

If you just want to drive not worry about that sort of stuff, get the auto. I'm sure it's still going to be great fun.

Right. Especially with a torque converter sapping power. I just get the feeling that a manual is more bang for your buck, imo.
