This was caused by transient ignition retard mapping error in early roms from factory
you had to drive hard and shift at redline rpm to cause it

early rom like 700x, 900x A00x had the problem was fixed in factory rom A01x and later rom
all OFT roms have the fix as do most other tuners roms

I'm planning to pick up a OFT and run 91 tune. I only have the k&n drop in and a track pipe. That's it in terms of power mods.

Is the 91 tune pretty conservative? I do a lot of hard driving at the track and canyon.

Thank you!

probably worth applying jb86'd mods here note his pictures show changes to tables not absolute values

Received the P0462 code again after using E85. This time I go the full display of check engine, slip light, and ABS. Cleared code and will see if it comes up again.

Its likely its an intermittent hardware fault with fuel sender in tank or the connection to sender at tank, might be worth checking\cleaning connector at tank

I got this after a particularly hard start on E85 one morning. From what I could tell, driveability was not affected though I couldn't enter cruise control and it didn't go away without forcing a clear with OFT.

i wonder if its battery volts related, ie particularly long hard start dropped battery volts low enough and long enough to cause ecu to see reading from fuel sensor out of tolrance. and set cel code.

I've gotten the same thing, p0462. Its been 5 days since I cleared the code and I went with a different fuel brand like Shell.

Open Flash Tablet - OFT TIPS Trick’s & FAQ

The stage 2 tune is optimized for the open flash header. However you can still use it with a Borla header or a tomie header for example. Stage 2 is mainly meant for an after marker header as that's the biggest restriction in our exhaust. So even if you replace the mid pipe and the rest of the exhaust and the header remains stock you'll need to use stage 1

So since I upgraded my OFT last week to the latest update every time I have it plugged in to the car it will run for a minute at most then freeze on the diagnostic page. Then I can only turn it back on after I turn off the car, and once I turn it back on and select diagnostic it freezes again. I'm at a loss as what to do next, I have tried to re-load the newest file and I still have the same issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
