One thing I have to say about GT7, in a somewhat related manner, is how underappreciated Need For Speed Shift 2 was. It had a lot of features such as sort of blacking out during high speeds or hitting a wall. Decent damage model and the engine sounds were pretty accurate. It tried to be as realistic as possible but I think it came out at the wrong time. If it was to be released now I bet it would be a great game considering the advances is graphics and adding DLSS or FSR.

The only thing I had against Shift 2 was the over-steering which GT7 balances very well depending on the car class.

I certainly hope we can sell anything I don't want this stupid French car lol. It would be cool to mark it off as having been collected though in case you're like a Pokémon otaku type that wants to catch 'em all...

Haha it’s actually Japanese heated table called “Kotatsu”. My wife found out about it & she wanted for a very long time, so when we got married, we bought one for the house.

I told this in the random thought thread, but my wife doesn’t care what I do w my money. Every paycheck certain amount go into joint account & rest goes into my bank, which is same for my wife. Joint account used for mortgage, bills & save up emergency fund. Rest, it’s personal use & we can do whatever we want. She doesn’t know how much I have & how much I make. Same for me, idk how much she have & how much she makes. I careless what she buys w her personal money & same goes w her. So far it’s working out.

I also am always conscious of my left foot position when on the sim. I have to wear shoes. I can drive my cars with thongs perfectly but not the sim. Then again when i race I wear shoes and the sim is also driven with similar aggression.

The Ferrari menu is another annoying one. I don't know what it is but the AI are suddenly going crazy. Constantly moving in front of me to prevent me from passing or bumping me and causing me to spin out.

Make sure before you restart the race you make them finish last so the A.I. learns that it doesn't pay to knock you off the track.

So confused on the PP in GT7. Starting PP for GR86 is 482.73

After adding few customization, I’ve dropped the PP to 473.14

Doesn’t make any sense

Some of the custom parts are not as good as the factory ones. Also depending on how they are setup they can be tuned postive or negative and effect other parts as well.

I think adding the front lip adds downforce and adjustability. So that drops the PP due to slowing you down????

Por exemplar if you buy an intercooler it will be little or maybe even negative but if you buy it after installing a turbo is a big gain. Same thing if you 'upgrade' (downgrade) brake pads to sport from Brembos you will get minus points.
