Bring it in while it's still in there. My dealer declined the warranty been though I showed them a pic of it.

My dealer said they were just ordering a new gasket and that another customer had success with a new gasket alone. I don't see a compelling reason for them to do that considering the bulletin clearly says that the issue may come from a cracked housing and to replace the taillights along with the gaskets; it makes me wonder if perhaps the gasket is a single-use part which may be why it's on the bulletin at all. Has anyone else had just the gasket replaced with success?

Left work yesterday, and since the change in DST, it's dark at 5pm now, so I need my lights, and it was probably 40 degrees out. I drove to the bank, went inside for 20 mins or so, and when I came back out I decided to check my lights out of curiosity and there was a very slight amount of condensation on the top part of the lights, same as my previous pics, just not nearly as bad. It hasn't rained for a few days and humidity is quite low. Maybe a little bit on the top is normal, my guess is from the hot the LEDs in the tail lights against the cold weather? I'll check again tonight when I leave.

Just got to work and noticed a slight fogging inside the tail light housing. called local Toyota, parts are already on order. These guys have been tearing into my car every other week since August, so I guess they don't need a lot of convincing.

Sigh. . went out last night to get gas before the Nor'Easter hit today and when I got home noticed condensation in both tail lights now. Just got off the phone with the service department and they're putting in an order for the other one now. They say they are backordered for about 1 month on them though.

I did take both lights out this morning and I did not notice any cracks anywhere. It's under warranty so I'm just going to let them replace them.

Looks like we're not the only one who has condensation in our tail lamps...

Wow, that's disappointing

I saw a few people who resealed theirs on their own with silicone or something, I'll have to dive into the DIY forum and see if there's anything in there if this replacement doesn't work.

I have a feeling that it might just be a design flaw.

Leak free, but are there any signs of light fog on the inside top?

My first set looked like a terrarium. Pooling water in the bottom and full on drops of water on the top. Tap it and it rained. It was a little eco system.

So far the new set only has some fogging but that's how the other set started.
