So can 86 fit a reverse cam or gotta cut a hole for it?

Anything can fit with a bit of effort, but the parts alone cost more than they've quoted you so I'm guessing its not genuine Toyota camera. I wouldn't want anyone cutting anything on my car. If its not bolt in and genuine I'd leave it alone.

how is it that a reverse parking sensor is $468 and a camera is $350?

That's the right money. That other one is way wrong.

Can you post pics of the camera when you pick it up please?

Without wishing to detract anything at all from those purchasing the camera I just want to mention that if you are giving any thought at all to replacing the stock audio unit it might be wise to hold back on getting the camera as they may end up incompatible.

$595 gets you this:

Pretty disappointed tbh, a few issues with it:

It's not a "Genuine camera" as listed on the contract, doesn't look all that integrated at all.
The dealer didn't point it properly so it looks like I'm running into things constantly on the LHS.
The screen doesn't provide any lines to indicate where the car is going.

I'd say avoid, especially for that much dosh

P.S. The Red doesn't photograph well at all but it looks fantastic in person.

Hmmmm. If that were my car I'd be asking for removal and refund. Didn't they mention it would be hidden. It looks cheap.

Just ordered my GTS MT in storm black from Cairns.
$39513 on road.
I'm paying $40k and also getting headlight & bonnet protectors, 86 mats, electronic rust proofing, paint protection and window tinting.
Took a couple of hours before they would agree to it but it's amazing what EOFY and end of month sales figures pressure can do to a dealer to get your signature.

None of those things should matter on a factory order. It would only be a driver for them if you paid for it and took delivery today.

Well wether it was or wasn't a driver for the sales is now irrelevant, I'm happy with the deal I got.

GTS Manual, Fuji Red, Darkest Leagal Tint, Melbourne, November delivery - $38,600
I buy a new car from that dealer each year so they look after me ...

Update: Dealer made a calculation error and even after they realised they honoured the price

Pretty sure i said earlier that the Nav units in Toyota's are Eclipse OEM units..

http://www.eclipse-web.com/au/produc...sories/bec108/

this is what you need, plug and play, hell of a lot cheaper than OEM one.
if you go to somewhere like Phatt Audio in Braeside vic, Northfield car audio in QLD or FHRX in Syd, any of them will be able to fit it so it looks good and hidden, and probably for a lot less than what you will pay from Toyota..
