Ya, I'll wait for the crowd to thin out at the exit - so their will be less of a chance of running over someone -

We call them a Fred (fucking ridiculous eating device), ours have a small spoon on one end.

At a pinch they work as fishing lures as well.

Personally I wouldn’t touch one that’s had the recall done. Not that all of them that have had the recall done will blow but the odds are exponentially better if it hasn’t been done.

The one I was looking at was not done yet. And it is sitting at about 75000 miles. From the little information I have found about the recall it looks like the valve springs are breaking earlier in the life span.

Correct. If it’s made it that far it’s fine. Mine is at 105k miles without the valve spring recall and I don’t plan on doing it.

I responded below.

NOTE: You don't really need to post your question other places after you have started a thread with your question.

All it does is to confuse old men like me -

And 15 years from now millenniums are going to be on a forum arguing about how driving a car is far better than the car driving its self.

honestly, that's an all-or-nothing thing, despite how i don't like it. computers are inherently better than us meatbags at repetitive tasks. despite the trolley problem, i believe that it is going to eventually happen.

and when it does, i see only 2 outcomes. either it will become completely illegal to drive ourselves, requiring a mass update to the entire transportation system over a short time span. or, and more likely, they will allow people to drive themselves for some time, but insurance rates will quickly creep up as 'meatbag hits autonomous car, again' gets repeatedly plastered across the front pages of newspapers, and the trolley problem falls to the back burner of concerns.
