Scion is really taking care of us...all the free schwag, excellent food, straight vip treatment all the way thru, and they answer any questions we have

I thought the car was down on power but i also had 2 people in my car, 2 nd gear all the way to 60 they scionguy inthe car with me was just laughing as i was tearing down the street haha,

Rear seat has zero leg room but who cares, in my short drive the car seemed really responsive, also the interior layout was just simple and to the point, very easy to figure everything out quickly, the seats are very supportive, and the steering wheel had a perfect thickness, they really thought this car thru

As im typing this i just got a knock at thr door, more free stuff,

License plate frame and a litle racer figurine, haha it never stops

Car was already running when I got in so didn't think to shut it down and start it. Maybe someone else noticed?

No needle sweep, I played with the black one indoors.
Im slowly uploading pics, fucking SLOOOOOOW wifi.
Drove the manual and I ripped on it, once you get it above 3700rpm its all smiles. Very different clutch, but the steering feel and shifter are spot on. Its actually more similar to the NC MX-5 than I thought it would be, but you do sit lower in relation to the hoodline so that takes a bit of adjustment. Seats are very well bolstered, but I feel like anyone larger than me (6'1'' 200lbs) would feel uncomfortable on moderate-to-long drives.

They expect the dealers to and strongly want them to stick to MSRP, but ultimately, even for first 86, they arent obligated to anything, and yes, they can sell for UNDER MSRP too (eventually when demand goes down).

He said that we should talk directly to dealers and get things straightened out with them.

Also saw the fiveaxis kit :P
Please post pics of five axis kit please

May not be any. I believe that was during the no camera/cellphone period. At other times it was covered.. Could be wrong. Looked great though.

None of these cars were production cars either. Someone needs to remember to just aslo tomorrow.

I liked at dinner how one of the first things Jack said was, "Thanks for not wreaking put cars!"

Yes. About to head back now. TON of cars. Lots of Porsche and Ferrari, some Lambos, Corvettes, Mustangs, Vipers, BMW, and a bunch of other random stuff including an Atom. I'll get some pics in another thread when I get back this week.

Yeah, we hadn't received our cameras/phones back at the time. We were truly amongst the first to see it, including Jack, since it had only arrived at the office the night before.

On another subject... I drove the automatic during the test drive. Having never driven anything with rev matching, I was caught by surprise by the feature when we were getting into the turn lane to return to the parking lot. I was braking and had downshifted when I heard the engine rev up. Since I was getting really close to the other FR-S in front of me, I had a mild mental panic and had to remind myself that I really was pushing on the correct pedal.
