Poll: Xbox One or PS4

PS3 online was horrible. Remember when it was down for a month? It was horrible because it was free, and it never really got updated like the 360 did. But now you gotta pay, maybe it'll help.

Remember, PS3 sold mostly for its games and the fact it has blu ray, now more then ever social and community interfaces are extremely important which was never a Sony strong side. But of course, its hard to judge consoles when they haven't even been out for 3+ years...

But as always, the sales will be pretty similar, both yielding similar results and pretty much same hardware as always...

Wow thank you for that video. After seeing it I AGREE TOTALLY with the way Xbox went about the X1.. If you want to keep gaming the same way you have for the last 10 years, stick to the Xbox 360 or PS4. If you want to launch yourself into the future of gaming, get the X1. Go to @7:25 of that video.. I'm sorry that I'm not worried about the dude on a ship haha. And I never said the Xbox was better than the PC. Please read carefully, I said the competitiveness on the Xbox is greater than the PS.

WRONG. The future of gaming is using the connectivity of the internet to better your experience, they sampled that with the reveal of Forza 5. The Cloud was used as somewhat of an AI to mimic the users gameplay and play as the user while the user was not even connected. If that doesn't sound futuristic to you, sorry. Why is gaming so good on the PC? It's always connected to the internet, is it not? The 24 hour check-in can be done via a cell phone. Everyone has cell phones. And decisions about secondhand titles will be left up to individual publishers. Please do your studying before pre-ordering a gaming console

Everyone has cell phones but not everyone has hot spot feature... you can have that AI feature without the need of 24 hour recheck, just update it when/if you connect online... like you said that feature is a great concept for Forza... that's about it...

Also, I have many games on my PC and I can play them with Steam in offline mode, since there's no need to have online connectivity to play a campaign.

First off, If you can't afford a phone that is hot spot capable, you shouldn't be being a next-gen console. Second, get off of the whole 24-hour check in. It's a good thing for Microsoft to learn things from it's users. Unless you want gaming to stay the same, it's about learning what works and what can make it even better. Like I said before, if you want a console that does not require internet connectivity, get the newly designed Xbox 360 or the PS4. By all means. I own a Galaxy S4, but different from suckers like you, I have an unlimited data plan with ATT.

Go ahead and buy a Xbox 1, we'll be playing on the PS4 while you stay in the lobby searching for non-existent online players.

Microsoft will hopefully learn from it's flop like it's slowly doing with the failure that is Windows 8 for desktop

You don't have to be personally affected by something to be offended by it is all I'm saying. It's anti-community. They were not thinking about the gamers. I was going to go with an Xbox and PS this next console series, but looks like it will just be the PS.
