All I can say is, wow, that's ugly, and no FWD is not a competitor to a RWD car. Sorry Nissan.
One last thing (and yes, I'm repeating myself) Nissan if you do anything modernize and build the MID4 you let me down with in the 80's! Until you do, I will not buy a car from you. ![]()

Good gawd people at Nissan, this is not difficult! Soup up the Juke motor, put it in an S15 test mule, put suspension borrowed from the Z in it, and then design a chassis that looks as sexy as the original Silvias. Charge $25k. Done and done! Now build it and make money!

TBF, the FT86 was a dazzler.
What we have now is a watered down, 'safe' option. Still pretty darn good, but not the concept we were 'sold' two years ago.

Man, Nissan's renderings just don't do a thing for me. I preferred the 90's Nissans' styling more than anything they've put out in the last 10 years. (With the 350 & GT-R as an exception.)

Not bad... another member and I always said that they were going to use the Juke engine.
Let the wars begin! Bring back the mid 90s competition! Mazda you're next! Honda, screw you and your civic, bring back the Teggy and S2k! P.S. that render is ugly imo Bring to the plate lightweight, RWD, cheap with estimated power outputs.

If it's going to be anywhere close to the driving experience and resemblance to their 370Z or G37, I don't think I'll want to consider it.
If it happens, I hope it truly does put out a great fight with the BRZ / FR-S... Nissan is going to really have to understand what the enthusiast desires, even though the vast majority of buyers give priority to options and comfort rather than the purity of the driving experience. We'll see what plays out, and I hope the competition is a reality...
