Sounds like the good ole days of the early 90's haha Lets just see if this plays out...Im hoping the toyota wil be less then that weight though
|
Its seems, the more I look, that this has been rumored for a few years now. Here are 2 blog posts that date Nov 2007
http://www.autoblog.com/2007/11/26/r...omeback-trail/ http://www.rocketpunchautoblog.com/2...uy-nissan.html so Im not holding my breath on this one. |
Competition improves the breed. Bring it on.
p.s. The Foria was a fairly ugly concept. |

They were saying the FT was on-again off-again, this thing has been much worse. Right after the S15 production ended some rumors were thrown around. Then, right around the same time as the FT was announced, they sounded pretty serious. Now again..
Like you guys are saying, competition is great for us, but I'm not holding my breath either. |
1.8L? I think they can do better than that. At least put a 2.0L in there.
Either way, this car is going to put up a strong fight against the 86. |

I hope they do make an official announcement on a new Silvia line. Not only would be awesome just to have the car around again, it puts pressure on Toyota to keep the FT-86 in the right state-of-mind, particularly in the weight department. |
its a 1.8 Turbo, whats wrong with that?
|
cool, but i doubt it will hold a candle to the ft's low center of gravity engine-placement
