also the second vido with the white brz...sounds like multiple clips, each adding a different part of their exhaust, the front pipe might account for the raspiness...the first shot sounded good.

Being older, not sure I can pull of the Evo GT, but this might be perfect. Would still really like to hear it under load though (full send as some call it), as they can sound vastly different under load than just being revved out.. |

Yeah I definitely want to hear it under load. I've got a Perrin 2.5" on order but it's taking forever.

Guessing you'd seen this video, particularly from 8:27 on. Sounds great but seems like.. a lot.

It sounds amazing to me still, from an outside perspective... but I think I'd grow weary of it after a short while if I were owner of that. Too loud and being in CA I hate having to be on the lookout for cops all the time as I currently do with my current car. I'm over that life now lol

As much as I love the sound, I also really don't care for the look of the two huge cans hanging down.. |

Should be putting my CSG Touring on tomorrow! Won't really have a good before/after unfortunately. It's been so slippery here that I have not been WOT since December, but I can at least show how the fitment is.

Do you have a decibel meter by chance? In any case though can't wait to hear it.

What I can do is use one on my phone to at least get a delta between stock and the CSG. The numbers might not be accurate, but they should at least be comparable to each other (as much as is possible with it being a logarithmic scale).

A little weekend fun on a frozen lake, Muffler delete $160CND, no tips yet, but it sounds fantastic. Will post some other videos of the exhaust soon. Highway drone is shockingly not bad at all, but after seeing the MASSIVE oem resonator, I understand why it's not too loud.

Ok, so the CSG Touring 86 is on. Pics/sound samples to come over the next few days.
Initial thoughts - This is what the car should sound like (edit: from the factory). To me its a much better balance front/rear in terms of intake noise versus exhaust noise. The stock exhaust is ludicrously quiet - I guess the thought is that its not worth putting too much money into it for Subaru when 90% of us are going to chuck it. This car is a DD for me, and as much as I think it would be awesome to have a super loud car when I wear my 16-year-old-me hat, it isn't practical, for many reasons. If you want a really loud exhaust, this isn't it. But to me, it sounds very nice, and suits the car. It doesn't burble as much as our WRX with the Performance Package, but I don't think I would want it to. The BRZ sounds more intake heavy, which I think suits it. Other notes - Fitment is really good. Tips are quite well centered, and everything was pretty easy to get in place. No risk of rubbing anywhere that I can see, and lots of adjustment range is possible on the tips. I didn't need to lubricate anything to get it off the car, but its only got 3000km on it, so things haven't had a chance to seize up that much. New exhaust still smells something horrible, but I expect that'll all burn off after a few hundred clicks. I decided to replace the gasket to the front pipe while I was under there, although the one that came off looked fine. I don't have any issues with drone on the highway, and I can hear the revs so much better when downshifting.
