Not a word. Doesn't surprise me one little bit since the Geneva show generally features cars so far out of the 86 price range they may as well be unicorns.
If it was a new car or a concept it may have shown up but they are not going to feature a refresh at a show where it would not receive a second glance.

I've been checking the Toyota site and nothing so far. They had a production toppage but I dunno if it affected the 86 since it's made by Subaru.

New York but again if just a refresh they probably won't showcase it.
Everybody has to keep in mind that it got loads of show time before because it was new and shiny. The manufacturers do not take every refresh for every model to shows. As much as we like to think of it as a main model for Toyota it isn't and they may be done showing it.

No it did not. Subaru was business per usual. It was a materials issue that did not go across the board for all manufacturers.

NYIAS is the only big show left before LA at the end of the year, if changes were to happen for AUG, then something has to be shown in NYIAS, remember we got the FRS concept in 2011 at NYIAS. Now that's just all speculations like usual, but never know what kind of event they'll throw before AUG. Still it makes sense to make the changes since you already announced Scion Models will show us as Toyota by EOY. But at the same time you could just change badges and take time. I'd keep my eyes on NYIAS though ; ) and any events in California during the summer.

It will be on Toyota's JDM site before any car show.

I bet it's going to look just like the FR-S/BRZ, but this one will have Toyota badges. And 5k more on the sticker. I't never going to be much more than it is now.

Why would it be 5k more? I can't imagine the car being more than 1k more compared to the brz.

I'm wondering if they are considering changing AT from regular to DCT.

i see no reason why they would go DCT.

The current A/T is a fine unit, with a great program on it...

I am not saying they should, but I believe DCTs tend to be lighter, faster and more efficient than equivalent ATs. All of these might be selling points for a sporty car, even if actual gains in performance would be negligible.
