I bought mine off the showroom floor, no test drive and they didn't have one to demo either. I did however test drive an FRS a few days earlier

You wont be disappointed buddy....John is great to deal with and a super busy man, but still manages to field your questions and send out tuning amendments in quick succession.

Is there a map with a "valet" mode currently or in the future? Like a 3k rpm rev limit or something. Sorry if this has already been answered.

Thanks. I did some digging, turns out it's a Password JDM. Looks decent from the pics.

John has helped me thru the tuning and data logging process and with a bit of patience it is a great result. The power improvement and drivability benefits over the standard AVO tune was evident when I had a drive with my friend yesterday with a stock AVO kit. I definitely noticed more popping and irregular noises from his car and lack of acceleration compared to my car both on the standard wastegate pressure (read under 5psi) As I have had the car on the road for like 2 or 3 days I havent seen a dyno yet to give you guys some power.

Once again can't thank John highly enough with his tuning and customer service, I really wish the people in my country offered the same customer service.

John its time to wire up the Greddy Profec Boost controller and wind the boost up buddy

Glad to hear your enjoying the car

I can't wait to turn up the boost!

I want to let everyone know, @Visconti SAVED my engine yesterday. I floored the car for the first time last night, lo and behold I have an issue with my Wastegate and its NOT opening. The overboost protection he added to my map was the only thing between my car and 30+ psi BOOM.

THANKS John @Visconti. Literally saved my motor last night. Car boosted to 13 psi at about 5K RPMs (it happens so fast, my eyes only saw up to 9 in the gauge) and hit overboost protection and it would just NOT go any higher.

Any of the Turbo guys, you NEED Overboost protection, I could have been another sad story today.

Absolutely. From what I understand, Johns tunes are the only ones to have this feature right now?

I had an overboost episode, but I only hit 19 psi in third before the tires blew off the car, and I realized something was wrong. I still have no overboost protection.

You were asking what advantages superchargers had... this is one, no real risk of overboosting. But glad to hear your engine is alright, get that wastegate fixed! My last car that I turbo'd had melted my wastegate line, but thankfully I had caught it in time and replaced it with stainless braided hose and re-routed it. Could have made for a sad day as well!
