First post in this thread looks like something out of a sequel to TRON: Legacy.

The concept though, that looks badass, I don't know how I missed it. I like the Speedster feel from the rear, even if it's a bit, well, blunt at the very back. And the front has a cool snub nose.

I completely agree with this. I can't tell you how many "artist concept" renders were posted to miata.net in 2014/15 and were discussed and argued about as if they had any kind of basis in reality. Not a single one came even remotely close to where the ND ended up.

Well the National Enquirer markets itself as a legit news media outlet, but only a few imbiciles actually believe it. The rest of their sales are for joke/entertainment value. Discussing the latest cover story about Elvis's alien offspring doesn't mean we think it's true.

I long for another MR2. (my first car out of college back in 1990...and the first car my GF now wife and I used to move to TX...to elope/escape her parents)...

Give me another Steel Mist Gray MR2 with at least 350hp for under $40k and I would snap it up.

That's more HP than the MKV supra which costs $49,999.99

I wouldn't hold your breath on that one.

But the problem is that a surprising number of people DO think anything in print is true. The Onion has proven this time and time again.

You would have a better chance buying American at this point before they go all in on pickup trucks.

If Toyota learned its lesson then the next collab project (if that even happens ever again) better be with a company they have some sort of controlling stake on.

How much do they own in Yamaha and Daihatsu?
