Still a 50% split (even though there are only 3 of them). Wife mostly thinks I am an asshole when I start laughing at 3am on a Saturday.
My cat agrees that you are a 100% asshole though. He hates you.

They won't fix mine, because the supercharger voids the warranty. I tried to explain that they obviously released the TSB because a lot of people were complaining supercharger or not. But they don't care of course, and offered to fix it for 3k. Doesn't bother me that much.

Supercharger doesn't void anything. Print out the Magnuson Moss act and slap someone with it.

Probably not in this case (fuel pump) but it can void the engine warranty if it can be shown to put the engine outside design specs. Ford did this successfully with a TSB on diesel trucks where they showed that a commonly used aftermarket tune/chip caused the engine to exceed the limits of the head gasket (I think it was 2005).

That sounds all well and good. A warranty cannot be voided. Claims can be denied. There is a difference.

Just brought my 2016 home from the dealer with the new Denso second-gen HPFP. No crickets the whole way home, but there was a strong fuel smell outside the car when I got it in the garage. Took off the HPFP cover (surprised by the heavy gauge of steel they used for that part) and found a leak. Literally squirting fuel out of a connector. Upon closer inspection, it also appears that one of my direct injectors may be leaking at its head seal. Bummer.

Yep. This is exactly the sort of thing you bring your car in for to be repaired under warranty.

Take pics and call them to pick it up.

Yep. Had it towed back and they sorted it out today. Picked it up this evening and so far so good. Will keep an eye on it for leaks, and will give an update in a few months on how well the new pump is working. Hopefully, the crickets are gone for good with this new pump.

One thing that I find interesting with this second generation pump is the inclusion of a reduced fuel pump cam lift profile on the intake cam of the 2017 engines. Obviously, the 2017 ECM is designed with different fueling parameters to match the reduced fuel pump flow rate, but retrofitting the newer pump to the older engines means the new HPFP is operating with a more aggressive fuel pump cam profile, and consequently, at a higher output than the 2017 engines. This makes me wonder if the new pump design was optimized for use with the milder fuel pump cam profile, and using it with the 1st gen camshafts will result in lower pump life, or an eventual return of the crickets that would otherwise not appear in a 2017 engine.
