I get they were tying it to the rest of the line up with a more aggressive look but I like simple lines. The unbroken angler flow from the front bumper to the rear was what attracted me to the car in the first place.

Now mind you I really like the Cb bumper flow since it is pretty old school but many would not think it aggressive enough.

It has its virtues

I think I'll wait until next year though and keep the wrx through the winter and see what trims they offer, and if they have the TRD parts available by then to us US guys. Also, want to wait to see if we have any actual details on the Supra by then. It will be one or the other

Just curious, but why would you get the 86 over the BRZ? Is it mainly because of the exterior?

As far as I can tell, it's the only thing it's got going for it. Other than availability maybe

Hmm depending where you are a BRZ might be lower in numbers. For example I grabbed the last CWP limited with The package in my area. If you wanted one like mine at the time you either travel another 100 miles out of area for it, or get another color that was available. There was only a red in my area at the time, apparently next shipment of them is December, and PP cars Januaury. These are estimated. Meanwhile the 86 should be easily found they're plenty of stock as we all know they always make more Toyota than Subaru

That was my single deciding factor between the two.

Pretty much. Originally I liked the 17 brz better, but after seeing the 86 in person I changed my mind. Also, I love the TRD kit for the new 86, and I'm assuming that next year the 86 will have options similar to the brz.

Looks is the reason I originally went with my 13 frs over a brz too.

That's the one I would spend money on. Does it exist, or is it still just a design excercise? The front end has always looked like an afterthought, or the cheapest place to add muh aggrsehuns. I'm fairly certain it ugliness will creep onto the rest of the car.

I saw it in person in Japan. I personally don't care for it. The nose and rear don't match, IMO.

They press released that it was aimed at working women. Trying to get a cuter version out.
