Steering feedback is not intuitive as 1st Gen. For me, GR86 is like the Lexus of my FRS. Like Ultra said, Engine swap and call it a day. Wish was plug n play tho

Yep, your mom is more likely in danger from a phone scammer -

Steering feedback could probably be improved easier than an engine swap though? Undervolt the eps motor, stiffer steering bushings, wider wheels, etc?

None of that changes the ratio though. And undervolting the EPS motor will just make it heavier

Oh, they changed the ratio for the worse? I didn't know that.

Yeah, it's been noted the steering is a slower ratio. I suspect it was to better align with Subaru/Toyotas other offerings

They don’t irritate me at all. In fact searching them out has become a hobby.

Meanwhile, on the edge of exurbia where I live, practically every weekend I can hear the sound of distant gunfire coming from a couple of different directions. These are supporters of the second part of the second amendment, preparing for the day when the government comes to take all of their guns away.

You would be surprised what happens on your own block that you don't hear or see a peep.

But there is no second part without the first! BECAUSE, it's not about the individual but rather, it's about people as a group, ("A well regulated Militia,") defending their territory, state or country as the case maybe.
I'm just a dumb Canadian and yet I seem to know as much (perhaps more) than a large number of born-n-bred 'Mericans.

I tend to see it as an issue with born “in-bred” ‘Mericuns.

It goes way beyond that. The same mentality that misinterprets the 2nd Amendment is the same mentality that we see on the forum on many topics. People read things they want to read, interpret things to their advantage, and there is no changing their thought process. People don't understand the difference between what is law, what is a right, and what is corporate policy. From what I remember from school, the spirit behind the second amendment was to "deputize" the general population in the event the country was under threat from foreign interests. The musket was the highest powered weapon commercially available at the time so it was a little forward thinking to be generic. This splintered off to allow a property owner to defend their perimeter from trespassers, to personal protection anytime anywhere. It's the counterpart to murder which has been illegal for centuries, so what are we protecting ourselves against if everyone can own a gun but effectively illegal to use it with force?

It's interesting that guns are legal to make, legal to own, but illegal to use effectively; it's the exact opposite for street narcotics. You can't even buy raw cocoa beans in this country. Seems a bit backwards to me.

Lol. I taught Con Law for 30+ years. The wording of the second makes it an interesting animal, but the whole document lends itself to “creative” uses. And ultimately, the meaning of any particular component has been entirely dependent on the whims of 9 (mas o menos) people.
