Steering feedback could probably be improved easier than an engine swap though? Undervolt the eps motor, stiffer steering bushings, wider wheels, etc?

None of that changes the ratio though. And undervolting the EPS motor will just make it heavier

Yeah, it's been noted the steering is a slower ratio. I suspect it was to better align with Subaru/Toyotas other offerings

Meanwhile, on the edge of exurbia where I live, practically every weekend I can hear the sound of distant gunfire coming from a couple of different directions. These are supporters of the second part of the second amendment, preparing for the day when the government comes to take all of their guns away.

You would be surprised what happens on your own block that you don't hear or see a peep.

It's interesting that guns are legal to make, legal to own, but illegal to use effectively; it's the exact opposite for street narcotics. You can't even buy raw cocoa beans in this country. Seems a bit backwards to me.

Lol. I taught Con Law for 30+ years. The wording of the second makes it an interesting animal, but the whole document lends itself to “creative” uses. And ultimately, the meaning of any particular component has been entirely dependent on the whims of 9 (mas o menos) people.
