I would have gotten an s2000 if I didn't get my brz. I was torn between the two, but a good s2k costs were pretty high around the 20k mark for like 60k miles. I though might as well get a brand new car for a little bit more. I was originally going to get a 2014 model frs but I saw the 2015 brz and loved the changes they made. Don't regret it at all

If the BRZ never existed and I live in a parallel universe, it'll probably end up like this:

I've built Nissans my whole life. I would have bought another 240sx project car. I was waiting for 10 years for Nissan to bring the Silvia back. I almost bought a 370Z. But the lack of a back seat, and poor driver visibility kept me away.

Don't regret the BRZ at all. Had it for 3 years.

This. I love my BRZ and the Subaru community, but if Nissan had made a very comparable car I would have taken it in a heartbeat. Shame that they are only keeping the Z heritage alive with the 350 and 370, but everyone who knows Nissan loves the Silvia/S-Chassis heritage as well. I keep hoping the Nissan will bring the 240sx back, or at least some variant of it, but it's just a dream.

This. I'm not a used car guy but would have to make an exception here. I don't fit in any Miata, even the 2016. Would have to go back to front drive otherwise.

Hey.. I'm an old guy here who has never driven stick (lol). I got the BRZ to learn to drive properly and I'm having a blast with it! Anyway, if BRZ never existed I probably would have gotten something like a used Civic Type R or a VW Scirocco.

Would've probably gotten a 2004-2005 bmw 330 sedan. But now that I've driven the FRS for a while and have really gotten to love the coupe style, I picked up a 2004 330 coupe.
