Ah well each to his own I guess. Wonder if he has any fun mods under the hood though? Can't believe that car started out identical to mine...

I used to like the funny wing/splitter thingy on the back windscreen - if it had been kept black maybe... I saw it on Importparts.co.za. But now I don't anymore...

Had it all been painted black (with due respect to the 'Stones) it may have looked nice - the red in the interior and on the dash is overkill.

I actually remember that one - they had that drag day and it dominated the V8 M5. I'd still rather have the M5 of the time - it's an awesome car despite the heavy clutch apparently! It just looked the part for me, subtle yet brutal.

That's the one! Also think the m5 was more of a complete package.
Was trying to be nice about the black/grey so I thought serious was a nice way to put it, but glad to see there are similar tastes on here.

Wasn't driving mine at the time so couldn't do "the wave".

I've done plenty Zwartkops traxx days in my life and it's really gone south - the marshals are quick to tell you that you're not allowed to pass around corners, let faster cars pass, etc and they'll send your details to the insurance companies if you crash, but then they can't or won't enforce any of the rules which means you end up with spikley haired punks in their citi golfs and corsas trying to out brake and out corner you when they clearly don't have enough skill or car for it.

Skid pan - much safer and better controlled.
Ja, I agree. I was a guest of Nissan once at zerotech and we did track and skidpan. Fantastic racing. All well behaved, except me in my diesel. Beat them on the handling circuit with my torque and my DSG box. Used their 350 on the skidpan. Needless to say, I was never invited back.

LOL! I was at Gerotek the other day but nothing as exciting as the skidpan or dynamic handling track - we drove massive trucks around the oval.
