Just got sent these by a friend in the Subaru club from their skidpan and track day. Also a silver with trd kit (that you @Naughty?). Hope the guy doesn't mind me posting (if it is yours and you don't want it up lemme know) but very serious looking car, havnt seen it before.

I can't think of a nice, unoffensive way of saying what I want to say about that car. And by saying that I reckon I've said it all...

At least it was the prettiest Subaru there (apart from the trd).

@sieglapj there is a zwartkops super traxx day every month, great fun and very affordable. I'm still running in but could maybe join you with the lotus?
Also is anyone planning another joburg meetup?

Haha sadly, I wouldn't call that thing pretty by any stretch of the imagination.

I've done plenty Zwartkops traxx days in my life and it's really gone south - the marshals are quick to tell you that you're not allowed to pass around corners, let faster cars pass, etc and they'll send your details to the insurance companies if you crash, but then they can't or won't enforce any of the rules which means you end up with spikley haired punks in their citi golfs and corsas trying to out brake and out corner you when they clearly don't have enough skill or car for it.

Skid pan - much safer and better controlled.

The irony is that's an 86 being a member of the Subaru club - surely it shouldn't have been allowed and had to have been a BRZ?

It is a wee bit "garish" for my liking I will agree... But very traditional Subaru owner style! Best reg. plate I ever saw on an Impreza was "WAAPTSS GP" I think.

That is garish even by Subaru standards. It's the kind of thing you'd expect to see on a 1984 Mazda 323 or Cortina bakkie.
