Fair enough, but until then anyone with an aversion to downshifting isn't gonna be happy with this car. |

I'm boosting this sucker the second an after market
Company comes up with a turbo kit. I love everything About the car except for the torqueless nature of the engine. What sucks is that eventually subaru will come up With a more powerful version. |

And please stop proposing your thirst for power campaign here. Power is the most easily achievable mod; everything else is much more difficult...

V6 Camry is a pretty powerful car, that's expecting a lot. A V6 Mustang doesn't even have much more power.

Didn't Tada-san _say_ it would have 200 hp? Or am I misremembering?
This thread is fraught with speculation and pseudo-extrapolation from pretty sketchy evidence. It's fun, but nothing to get worked up about. Gentlemen, we'll have to wait and see. :happy0180: |

With 7000rpm to work with it's still possible to get 200hp pretty easy, no worries there. But over 200hp? Eh. People who were like "I HOPE IT HAS 230hp", yea sorry no.

No, the Subaru model is going to be the same car underneath. Toyota and Subaru have both confirmed that they wont be doing a Turbo model. Subaru may decide to do a more track focused 'STI' version.... but then again Toyota may do the same and do a 'TRD' version. There is nothing yet to suggest one version of the car may be faster than the other and no faster models confirmed. |

Edit: I mean, it seems like USDM version don't get any performance package, so we have to buy from the dealer like we usually do with other Scion models. |

I wouldnt be surprised if Scion offered a TRD Supercharger kit or something similar for the car at the dealership. But i dont think we'll ever see anything 'straight from factory' thats boosted. |

Not really. If your looking for big power reliably it can cost more than handling modifications. Especially on a engine that's not F/I and have high compression.

Gazoo will offer more power for Japanese customers, that's something I've heard yesterday at the race. But I didn't get that information from Gazoo so I can't confirm it.
