Installed my OEM armrest last night. This should have been on here as a standard item.

Tonight I stripped the interior pieces with the carbon vinyl and took it off. Tomorrow it's time for a change up. Brushed black steel vinyl. Also going to install the Beatrush Rear Differential Brace. Beatrush FTW!

Well shit. I jacked up the car, unbolted the rear diff, and started installing the Beatrush Rear Differential brace and was ready to install the new bolts to the subframe. FYI you have to drop the LCA's from the subframe to stuff a nut into the subframe. I have camber bolts at this connection point and decided to abort the install and hold off until I have more parts that will justify another $200 alignment. kinda bummed

Over the weekend I replaced my Kenwood DDX-719 with a navigation unit Kenwood DNX-570HD and added a back up camera. The back up camera is a very welcome addition to this car. Can't see crap when backing up without one of these.

A few weekends ago I also Plasti Dipped all the black items with a Matte Clear which resulted in a Satin Black finish like my wheels. Turned out really good. In the sunlight the metal flake in the factory paint still shines through.

how many layers of Koi orange did you dip? which gun did you use? how is it holding up

i'd really like to dip my GT86 in an orange - too bad i don't know how the Normale Orange would look like (or how to modify it so it looks like that Koi Orange) since we aren'T able to buy koi orange from DipYourCar no way to get it shipped to germany/europe

I sprayed 6 coats starting very thin and then increasing thickness as it started to build a base. Adjust the gun after each coat. I would think if you can get orange just try tinting it with some red.
