If you're looking for pure cooling, some naca ducts on the hood might do better to get cool air into the engine bay or pull hot air out. I know marsh has done this with the vents being used to push cooler air into the bay but they could be reversed to do the opposite and pull hot air out.
Recall seeing those but it's been a while since I checked them out, wasn't sure if there was enough space to do that but I'll take your word that there isn't.

For me anyway it's more about having something functional rather than fake, so even if it could be done without the snorkel part I think it could still work and likely help at least some heat escape, but at a minimum wouldn't be just for aesthetics.

Trunk pull

Probably helps if I include the STL for the trunk pull upthread.

Things you need:
  • The print
  • Pry tool
  • CA (optional)
  • Loctite Blue (optional)
If metric:

  • M4 well nut (8mm OD)
  • M4 x 35mm socket head screw
If freedom units:
  • 8-32 well nut (5/16th OD)
  • 8-32 x 1 3/8th socket head screw
Directions if not obvious:
  1. Install the well nut in the back recess
  2. (Optional) wick one drop of CA into the gap
  3. (Optional) one drop of loctite blue into the threads of the well nut
  4. Insert the socket head screw into the front, thread it until it just bites
  5. Pop the push pin of your choice off the trunk liner (if you have one)
  6. Insert the assembly in, tighten screw until it stops wiggling.
Be aware that loctite blue can slightly melt/lubricate the well nut, causing it to come apart

Designed an intake snorkel like the GR Cup cars. No clue if it fits first gens, *should* fit second gens but haven't had a chance to pull my bumper and triple check my work. It fits the airbox fine anyway, with a bit of weather seal tape.

I designed it to maximize the air intake area into the box while still using thin foam weatherstripping (1/16" thick) and mounting using the OEM grommet.

Printed some blanks for the turn signals

I needed a cover for the A/C.

The first gen snorkel exit shape is slightly wider and shorter than the second gen.

The clean one is the second gen.

Do you have the STL file for the side markers? I've been looking everywhere but can't seem to find any.

Wanted to share my progress on a custom intake tube for my turbo. 3D scanned the area using photogrammetry (3D zephyr exported to 3ds max).

Then used Solidworks to create the final model

Printed a few prototypes in thin-walled PLA before final one in ABS

Printed in ABS then acetone vapor smoothed

Here it is installed

This picture was taken before the acetone vapor smoothing process

Emblem / Badge

I spent a whole weekend making this near-perfect emblem. It'd make my day to see someone else using it...

Someone's gotta make side mirrors. My skills aren't quite that good but that would be really cool.
