Waiting for valve keepers to arrive then the head will be done at the machine shop. Should have the motor all assembled next week. Bringing the car to the shop this weekend to get the kirkey's mounted, and to pull the interior in preparation for the 10 point nhra cage. Car is going to a buddies shop for that at the end of the month. In the mean time, I've just been playing around with trinkets

Got the head back. Hks 272's, Manley valves, beehive springs, retainers and keepers. Cleaned, decked, valve job and shimmed. Installed last night, just need to set the timing and install more things tonight.

photobucket is being a piece of crap, so im switching to flickr now. still need to weld the new plate for the DBW throttle body and powdercoat the manifold and fuel rail again. for the most part, the engine is complete.

Cage is done. Should be able to pick it up this weekend then I will weld in the window net and parachute release lever where I need them. Then paint and reinstall the interior

yes, it was dropped to give room to fully weld, then raised up and the floor plates/boxes were built
