Is there any new dyno results?

When does full boost kick in?

How does this turbo compare in size with gtx2867 ?

If I remember correctly it's just a tad larger than a gt2871,

Lookw like the intercooler piping goes out the top...I would like to see this kit installed with the bumper off to get a better look.

Someone who has purchased this, post up some pics!

JDL, if you have the completed kit that's available for production on your shop car, can you point me to some pics/dyno sheets (pics of it actually installed)? When I go turbo in a few years, I don't really want to settle for anything less than a twin scroll design.

I'm very interested in the experiences of those who have/will get this installed before I'm ready to go boosted.

I'm really enjoying the way this JDL kit is shaping up. I'm currently running a Vortech Supercharger, but i'm looking to upgrade to something better. I'm wondering what JDL feels would be the best option for ~300whp on 93 octane, and ~350whp on E85? I think a 5130 may be too big for my taste. Would a 4828 be a more viable option? Is that also available with a twin scroll housing? I'm not concerned with headroom for more power down the road, I'm looking for the widest powerband available.

The 5130 easily did 300 @ 8-9 psi and 350whp around the 12 psi level. I don't have any experience with a twin scroll 28rs based turbo on the fa20 platform but housings are available (.82 ar t3 divided). You could do it with either the PTE 4828, Garrett GTX2863 or GTX2867. I'd expect 400-500rpm faster spool with a slight loss of top end compared to the open scroll counterparts.
