I have ran the RA1s and now switched to the R888s. Really liking the r888s for a street and track tire.

If you want to step up to a stickier tire, try the NT01 or RC1. I'm personally not a fan of the R888, as they're a peakier tire; the NT01 and RC1 are much more forgiving to mild setup differences, and have a wider temperature and pressure window for being fast.

Then you're not putting all that much heat into them. I'd just go for real track pads and see how it goes. Most any race pad will be a step up from street pads.

Hey....Voltex Type 7 GT Wing (swan neck) or the APR GT 250 wing? The APR seems to have more adjustability, but the Voltex looks so good. However, I would go with which wing will be fastest......so which is better?

What are you trying to accomplish/fix? Are you going to run a front splitter too?

More downforce is the goal. I would pair this with a front splitter (the new 5" from Driveway Labs looks nice). The car feels well balanced now, but I want to increase cornering speeds. I like the Voltex, but my main concern other than price is the range of adjustability. There are a few different track configurations I run and each of them would optimally require a different angle for the wing.

The GT1000 or Type V will have substantially more downforce than the Type 7, or GT250, or any single element wing, regardless of configuration. We can get ALL of the above for you. |

APR GT250 with NASA discount and use the money saved over the Voltex on other parts or more track time.

hey, I'm just looking for some advice on tires. I just signed up for an HPDE at Summit Point, WV (Summit point main) in early November where the temps will likely be in the low 40-50s. Any idea on tire? I was thinking about Michelin PSS. 245/40/17 on a 17x9.
