Bummer... just called Diamond transport, and they won't be doing a pickup until next week. Delivery won't be until next Friday probably. The shipper will give 24hr notice in advance of the actual delivery date.

I think there is one truck leaving this week as well. My car is supposed to be on that one. I hope it is.

man i'm kinda worried :/ i originally picked the extended warranty on friday and expected the documents overnighted on saturday but they forgot to enter that option so it ended up not coming in at all. waste of a day for me. on sunday i was talking to a friend and pointed out how i haven't kept a car for more than a year over the last three years and how i should probably just not get the extended warranty and to reevaluate when i'm near the end of the 3yr/36k.

so on monday i called and emailed the finance lady after i got off work that i've chosen to not get the warranty and if they could resend a new packet. well i haven't gotten any responses back but she did read the email because when i called during my break , she expected me but was busy.

you guys think they're upset/put off by my change of decision that they're going to sell it to someone else?

They probably won't be excited to make the change all over again as they will need to prepare the whole contract again, but I don't think it should be a big deal for them. Try to contact them again and discuss the matter.

i was able to get a hold of them during my second break. spoke with financing and they really wanted to talk to me before canceling and starting the paperwork all over. well they must be happy because now i've decided to keep it. figured in 2-3 years, the extended warranty will cost +$300 more than what it does now, which would be the prorated value, so i'll just keep it and get my car faster.

selling my 335i tomorrow, gonna enjoy an 04 accord for the next 1-2 weeks. this will definitely make the BRZ wait much tougher haha.

Yep, I believe it's the same. I just got a call that my car is loading onto today's transport truck! Woohoo! Hopefully will be here on Sat.

tracerit, I heard that Heuberger sells close to 15 Subarus a day, so their Financing person (Dawn) can get super busy keeping up with the paperwork. Don't worry, I also lost a couple days here and there in the paperwork process as well due to waiting on her. You figure a person physically waiting at the dealership to buy a car is going to get priority time over someone buying via mail order.

I just sold my WRX and Supra, so I'm also borrowing a car until the BRZ arrives!

I talked to Diamond Express and they said that their driver will pickup the car tomorrow and they will deliver in Bay Area on the Monday/Tuesday. Apparently the driver lives in Sacramento and needs to rest over the weekend.

Heuberger got my paperwork today and called the transport for next week! If this guy lives in Sacramento, hopefully that means he'll drop by socal first then drive up home so I'll get my delivery first on his trip!

got good news... and bad news. they just picked up my car from the dealership but the transporter found a paint blemish that my dealership did not notice. i'm still taking delivery since the blemish is kinda small but for you guys/gals out there, it's good to know these transporters have good eyes! so if you don't get a call then your BRZ is gonna be pristine!

Got my car last night. I drove to Sacramento and met the driver to get the car. Couldn't wait until Tuesday and I wanted to drive to over the weekend. Met him at 10.30 last night inspects the car and the paperwork. Everything looked good and then drove back to South Bay. Reached home at 2am. I'm still getting used to the car and manual shift but its all worth it. Will post some pictures soon.
