The question was how many with V8's. What are you even talking about anymore. Sounds like you are trying to find all reasons to poke holes into something when you have clear cut answers, so now you are trying to alter your questions down to being "nit-picky" to make some kind of point....which I'm not even clear what point you are trying to state. Keep talking about what Scion is doing...yet EVERYONE does this. Maybe I should ask you this then..."What is your definition of a frankenstein build?". Is a Nissan 350z Vert with a Titan V8 swap considered Frankenstein? How about a 240sx with a V8 in it? I already know the answer before you even answer it.

LOL...PTuning moderately tuned tC? If 600+whp is considered moderately tuned....I guess I should aspire to be moderately tuned someday.

Its no wonder they're getting so much hate from grassroots drifters. BTW fun fact: did you know the first US drift champ drifted a FWD civic?
So? Who cares if the stock car has to be modified more extensive than most enthusiast are willing to go to drift with it. That again...ONE aspect of Motorsports that they compete in. Stop short changing all the others just so you can pick on one section. Can a showroom stock Scion pull a sub 1:00 lap time on my road course? This is Motorsports...cars are modded to perform in said event. What motorsports do you know of that cars compete 100% like they came from the factory? Come on man, seriously...be real here and stop trying to nit and pick talking points that apply to one specific situation, when there are multiple examples.

As mentioned....that's not NEW News. It's done by ALL PRO DRIVING Motorsports. Sorry you can't exactly program GREED out of people.

I'm a bit exhausted on this subject now. All you keep doing is trying to "one-up" me on something that all the Auto manufactures/Teams involved, do. So, it's whatever you want to think. I've answered you. Some how you got this idea that I managed to dodge a question when I clearly answered you.

I know Scion has a countdown for their new vehicle to be unvieled in New York next month, but I sure hope it is a revised Toyota iQ and not a rebadged Toyota FT-86!

Is it immature to think that Scion is counting down to reveal another boxy design.

You know, a new, hot, boxy design. On 4/20...

i was thinking along the line that it was rejected because it was too tame for younger people to buy(scions demographic) so they got it redesigned. and wasnt the concept for the tc all aggressive like this, and then toned down for production? thats why i thought it was adding weight to the "as a scion" agrument

Thats exactly my point. (Most of)The ones driving scions do it out of greed, not preference. Therefore . . . I rest my case.

plausible, but the whole point of the car is to get young people back into Toyota itself. It's still up in the air though i guess.

Am i dumb for hoping the new IS is based off this/LFA/ hell even the new GS if its sexy? Throw a new Toyota/Yamaha engine in it...orgasm.

I would say that the MK1 variant would fit into the current production Scion lineup. I'm still hoping it's a Toyota though. I also hope that it lights a fire under Nissan's ass and we see an S16 in the next few years.

you dont have to tell me the whole reason for this car and if you look back at the older scion v toyota threads you'll see i am firmly on the side of it being a toyota(even though im in australia).

the IS/LFA/GS are totally different cars which have totally capable platforms for their intended use, let this platform only be for the ft and subaru variant, if any other cars were to get it they would be the yaris, corolla and prius(hahaha), not the large sedans
