Hence why I said do your own research and make your own decision. There are multiple powdercoating FAQ's you can find and also go to the manufacturers of powder and see the whole process. The metallurgy is explained in youtube videos as well. Do the research using multiple sources and make your decision based off that instead of what one random person said on one or two random forums. I was just giving you my personal experience....but you don't know me and I could be lying about even having owned a car, much less having pieces of multiple powdercoated.
