Thats what I said about my stock clutch until i drove down the street for the test drive after i installed my kit and it slipped right away..lol then i was like shit i should of just did a clutch from the beginning..car had 10k btw.

My car is at 21k right now I can deal with a little slippage (maybe) I just don't want to fork out the extra money nor do I have a place to replace my clutch at the moment as I live on an AFB base and the auto hobby shop is closed...

250 whp? Just buy a CARB legal kit (JRSC, Edelbrock, Vortech, Works) I haven't seen any of those fail yet.

No custom tuning, easy support from factory, vendor will help you out with warranty claims. It seems incredibly robust for a ~50% power increase you can DIY install.

The clutch is specced to protect the rest of the drivetrain. If you're at a power level that doesn't overwhelm the stock clutch, then most likely the rest of your drivetrain is safe, provided you have a good tune.

Once you replace the clutch to hold the torque, you're at risk.

No offense... but I think this is a bit of a silly question to be honest.

People talking about clutches slipping at 10k... well I'd examine how you drive?
Do you accelerate hard all the time, drag race, do track days?

Bolt-on, "factory tuned" kits (like Edelbrock) are designed to be as reliable as possible, but with all the other variables - mostly how YOU drive and how you look after your car - it's impossible to answer this.
How often to you change engine oil 9and what kind of oil are you using) for e.g?

I have a race bike that has - since new - only ever been thrashed around a track, with full exhaust some engine tuning (no internals etc though) and some wicked brakes and suspension to make it grip and stop hard + slick tyres so I can really wind on the gas. I did something like 20,000km (around 12,500 miles) without any problems at all (clutch, engine or otherwise).

I could go carb legal but there is gonna be some day that I wanna make more power and with this kit I could essentially just "turn up" the boost to 10 lbs or so. Then switch to e85 for more power. Like stated above I would rather have a little clutch slippage then drivetrain break. It will all get upgraded later but just want the kit for now

What's "this kit"?

Do you mean a hypothetically reliable kit that you can decide at any moment to make less reliable by turning up the boost?

You can always have the supercharger kits retuned to be more aggressive at their off the shelf boost levels, you can always put on a smaller pulley to up the boost, or you can pick the CARB legal turbo setup I mentioned and have a tuner turn up the boost on that when you feel like it.

So this is a hypothetical kit then?

CARB stands for "California Air Resources Board", shorthand for smog legal or emissions compliant in states that care. These kits come with standard tunes that are generally conservative and have been so far reliable in my eyes on the aftermarket for the 86, you can always modify and custom tune later for more power, but they seem to align with your goals off the shelf with no need for futzing around with parts missing from the kit or poor fitment or any of the other foibles of a more custom setup and having someone locally tune it or e-tuning.

I don't want to go turbo and I really don't care about carb as I don't live in Cali and my car is registered in Michigan which has no restrictions

The suggestion is less about emissions and more about an off the shelf package that matches your goals.

Is this package a FI kit or just a tune because I'm sure you can't reach 250whp on na. Also, I still want room to grow after the fact and this can be done with the JRSC kit

Sorry I wasn't clearer that those four companies offerings are forced induction kits, good luck in your endeavors.
