I use ISC RacerTape on my car year round for protection from light scraps on the front. Slightly oversized winter tires help too.

You could find some sort of tough cloth with soft insides to wrap around it, if you think it would get scratched up...but a clear BRA looks like the best option. All twins should have them anyways. I can still clearly see where small rocks would have torn into the paint.

No but the guy that was driving what ever the wheel well chunk fell out of may have been. It was rock solid, frozen to the ground in the middle of nowhere and covered in a nice blanket of soft fresh powder.

Ok, that sucks so hard it's not even funny.

Fortunately it's a plastic part so it won't rust.

Come January and my pile of snow heaved up from my driveway is blocking the bedroom windows upstairs.

The very first thing to remember about winter driving is that it is just a car. Cars that actually get driven get marked up. This is especially true in the winter and is almost unavoidable. Drive it, enjoy it, fix what really bothers you and leave the rest as badges of honour on a driven car.

I have a wing on my car and 3 times a year it snows here in Texas and I want to know what I can do to protect my wing when it snows since we have 4 cars the others are in the garage and mine stays out.
