Unfortunately, I do not.

It seems that since you're debating waiting for an STI version, you have 2 choices: get a car this year and be prepared to pay at least MSRP, or wait a year or two until new versions come out and supply catches up with demand.

Most likely around the same time as the STI, Scion will be putting out a Release Series version of the FRS, which may prove to be equally as fun (though Toyota seems more likely to release a supercharged version of the engine than the likely turbo Subaru has been rumbling about). The longer you wait, the more attractive the pricing and options will be, but the cost is waiting longer to drive it.

I may still be in the honeymoon phase with the car, but I don't regret at all jumping on this first generation, nor do I anticipate any changes coming out anytime soon that absolutely blow my mind. I view the at-MSRP pricing to be the price of admission to getting in at the ground floor, so to speak. Then again, it's been nearly a decade since my last RWD car, so I've had an itch for some time now..

Invoice + destination is more or less what the dealer pays. Subaru sends them an additional kick back later in the year, I was told by a dealer in Vancouver, WA that it is $1,200 per vehicle. Basically, selling at MSRP+destination makes them about $2,400.

I believe we have higher property tax here though. Works out for me as a renter but now that I'm out of college and making good money, I'll have to actually pay my fair share when I buy a house

Oregon doesn't have inspections unless you live near Portland (lucky me... 1/2 mile south and I wouldn't have to. At least it's only $19/2yr.) Front plate makes me sad. I'll jump on one of those screwless ones though. Might try to machine one myself first though.

Didn't know Edmunds have that already. Thanks for the information. Anyone happens to know the MF on BRZ?
