Here is a photo from my autox video of someone randomly walking ON the autocross course!

~3:00 mark from this video

And honestly, that wasn't the worst thing...

The second or third person to race the first time around, the person immediately after them pulled up and didn't know their passenger needed a helmet, and IMMEDIATELY started their lap right after the car in front of them went! Both of the cars were one behind the other on the course and nobody had red flags or were told about flags and we even tried to wave the second driver off the course but they had no idea cause they never did this before (Can't blame the new drivers if there aren't any rules in place).

This event could have seriously gone really bad really fast...

Dam, sucks to hear that. But eh, an autox right next to a car show? That's just as odd as a football bat. Hopefully next year would be better.

If you watch the video, you can actually see how each run the cones actually moved positions cause nothing was actually marked as to where it went :|

It was seriously the worst thing ever, someone could have been killed.

This x1000

I don't know who runs these events anymore, but I remember when these events were ran but true enthusiast. Now they seem to be a quick cash grab.
I remember my first subie fest 2008 and I don't remember this much terrible feed back.

Last year was actually pretty good I thought.

Entry - organized, got sent straight to the autox paddock.
Autox - organized with crew and even assigned parking spots, plus actually handing out trophies and lots of competiton.
Raffle - At the end of the day and everyone was there. Lots of people stayed all day.

This year, the complete opposite... I hope all the sponsors and vendors don't come back next year.

The event holders know people will go and pay regardless bc we like going to these things for personal reasons.

So they take advantage and charge up the ass for parking and or entry.

So it doesn't really matter to them if it's organized or not..
They're making their money.
