Seriously though anyone waiting on a BRZ STi should just buy one now (mod it if you need more power) and stop missing out on all the fun.

Seeing as how I just got my BRZ I would hate it if they confirmed a BRZ STI, so honestly I hope they dont make one for atleast a couple of years.

No. here is my reasoning
FT-86 never intend to develop as a fast car, the development core is a nimble and balance of a econo sports car like AE86 COROLLA. I think that is why although the world critics Toyota/Subaru about the lack of power since 2013 and they never actually do anything about it (instead, they had minor change of suspension parts or exteriors!). Of course, people also have same complain about celica and they never really care either!

If you want more power, i would recommend you wait for Toyota Ft-1 next year.

I don't want more power. I just wanted some feedback. I feel like that German who got clubbed to death by the Bear Jew in "Inglorious Bastards". I get it.....the answer is "no". That said, if it does come out in early 2016 or earlier I think all of you funny boys should be forced to drive the Mary Kay Pink Miata for two weeks. Fair is fair.....

The reason you are getting flamed is because there are probably close to 100 threads on this topic already. Also countless click bait articles out there on the internet about some high performance version of the 86 being released in the year 20xx.

None of them are true and there is no legit info from Toyota or Subaru about releasing any such model.

So next time just do a quick Google search before you decide to make a new thread.
