most likely this car will be geared toward the quarter mile since its a 6 seed and it will prolly be at best 6.0 sec on 0-60. id prefer it to be better at the quarter mile anyway.

I'd say the site is decent for a general idea. They just compiled a load of times with the cars stats and compared the numbers. In reality, it should take into account market choices like ratios and tires. But I do agree its nowhere near perfect, just something to think about

I don't want to break it, but I think the base will do 0-60 in about 7.5- 8 seconds assuming they put in a 2.0L engine. The STI with 305hp would be a dream come true, but at best it would do ~5.5 given the perfect dimensions. Also, wouldn't the insurance for a small car an a high hp engine be insane?

What? 204hp IS250 RWD with 3455lb can run 0-60 in 7.9 sec(can be done better because it's official 0-60 from Lexus.). How comes a car weighted under 3000lb with the same power runs about the same 0-60? This should be, at worst, 6.8-7.0 sec. Yes, insurance rate is insane for people under 25, but it's not the real matter. |
