I am not sure how much track or Autocross you plan to do? A pure street car should be set up for the street. I often drive through the SoCal mountain areas (not with snow or ice) just in the hot clear summer. It is a challenge to set up are street cars for the 1 percent time on the track. On the street we shouldn't push are cars to absolute extreme traction threshold. I am trying to set mine up for street spirited driving not race driving. There is a difference. It is a challenge to not purchase certianly items that are alluring but not needed for pure street cars.

I have 225/50R-16 Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 on my V8 cressida wagon, and they are great tires. Try keeping the size, but with some better tires!

Whiteline offset upper bushings available below, and a dozen other places according to a quick search on Google shopping. From what I've read, there seem to be a couple of versions out there, with the newer being better, so do your research.

Wouldn't bother with shocks, get some coilovers so you have some proper suspension travel in the rear instead of sitting on bump stops and being upset on every mid corner road imperfection. Don't the Tien Flex Z have good reviews for comfort?

I just changed my 225/50/16 Continental Extreme Contact DW today for the 225/50/16 Advan Neova AD08R. I drove the car which is stock except exhaust and wheels for about 14K miles with the Continentals. Both tires are mounted on 16x7 wheels. With the change in tires it feels like I added stiffer springs. The sidewalls are signifigantly stiffer. The tire looks different on the wheel also, the sidewall doesn't flex as much and this visible when the car is parked. I went around some of the same turns I usually do. OH MY GOSH what an improvement in dry traction. They are expensive but the car feels so much better. I thought this video might help to show tire results on our cars.
