Actually I would not be at all surprised to see some manufacturers actually go that route some day. The tech for wraps is improving every year.

I would like to wrap, but there isn't a place near me that does vinyl wraps just yet

Yeah... It's sad when the highest Internet speed we can purchase at my house is only 12Mbps down and 512Kbps up.

I was only getting ~22 Mbps down and 1 Mbps up until about two years ago, I live within walking distance (~30 minutes) to Google headquarters, can cycle to Apples within an hour. Now I'm up to 45/5 Mbps...

Oh and I'll gladly go without home internet over paying Comcast a cent.
