Mine is mounted inside a box of "spare" stock parts in my garage

Only option otherwise would be a "no holes" type option, but then its off-center.

i was thinking zipties underneath the mustache. I used to have it on the pass side of dash but then when i was at subaru, service guys took it down. Now it just sits on the floor on my passenger side lol.

Off center is common for JDM cars so I'm used to it. I was absolutely NOT drilling holes.

No tickets, no problem. Even if there is one, it is not going to be pricey.

Now I live in PA and no front license here.

$200 ticket here, that's not cheap...

The way the airbag comes out, it's not a good idea for it to be on the dash.

Under the mustache would be blocking airflow. Dunno what the overhead is on the cooling on this car is, but I've had issues with doing that on a Miata and won't do it on this car. Plus I think zip ties look like crap and I don't want it flapping.

I got stopped for not having a front plate on my car, but no ticket. After that I picked up the Grimm kit. It works but I'm still not 100% on the offset look on the BRZ/FRS...
