yea I was thinking about the same thing, which is why I haven't added them at this point. My biggest concern is really seeing how well these cars can hook, and what the possible issues are with this happening. I've been trying to hold out to see if anyone else ventures down this road before me, or to see if we can get some more info. on replacement diffs to throw in. I had to throw in a new rear on the mustang within 20k, so I'm not too worried about the work itself haha

well imports that are RWD and being drag raced are few and far between.
Typically I see Civics by the hundreds and very few other guys trying their RWD cars. Mostly some Nissan/infiniti and a few BMWs with a sprinkle of expensive stuff like IS-F/AMGs. Those old school imports are the fastest like the 510s and Starlets but that is different than what we are talking about.

This is unlike your typical Ford or Chevy day where the track is filled with old and new stuff.

Wheelhop can be a problem with IRS rears. Low torque cars have to be launched at high rpms to make up the 60' so you are putting alot of strain on the system. Skinny output shafts and weak diffs being a common issue too.

We will see what happends down the line as more people get a hold of this car and try their hands at drag racing.

You can drag race anything though.

I'm looking for 13s, not anything lower. I didn't buy the car to drag race, I bought it to have an all out better performer
