Ya that's BS...just go to another dealer.

I was told by Longo Toyota ( a huge dealer down here in socal, it has the largest allocation of FR-S's in socal) that they only go by order only, and you have to wait 1-2 months....and they already had 80 people on the list.

I called Toyota of Irvine...they had a silver FR-S MT...I went there, hammered out a deal....done! I drove it home that night.

I was told mid July @ one dealer in Calgary, (PM for which one) and i put a deposit down i believe late may, it took me forever to finally get a delivery date so I started shopping all the dealers in Calgary. I'm now expecting Delivery Of my White 6MT next week! word! SHOP AROUND!!!! PS Derek @ Stampede Toyota its straight up no BS and his sales manager and GM are also on top of there shit with no BS. there completely aware of what they have sitting in Vancouver and they speak directly with Scion them selves. they will also get the info for you right away.

So yea, Derek Chan, and his managers are the guys to talk to if you want real info, im not saying they will for sure get you a car super fast but they will get you honest information. I pulled my deposit from a different dealer today and with in an hour I got my VIN and i got lucky and got the white FRS that someone backed out of, but they did tell me they have more allocations sitting in VAN and had VIN #'s

so yea, I was prepared today to call The dealerships surrounding calgary as well so my suggestion in call around to everyone, who knows. worth a try

I went around to as many Subaru/Scion dealers that were within reasonable driving distance until I found what I was looking for! White 6MT! I cared about that more than the actual make.

yes, i'm going to call a dealership in calgary rather than wait a week or so for the dealership a block away from my work to get the car i ordered that has a VIN is already on rails, if not in the GTA.

Ummm...excuse you its ok for him to feel this way your situation has nothing to do with his...get over yourself and this car people have the right to be impatient and he shouldnt have preordered why preoder a car you havent driven yet? sheesh the nerve of some of you guys like this is a LFA or something this car isnt rare and it isnt gonna be rare....when the dust settles in the next few months the'll be everywhere and all over the lots.
