WRX...Unless it's a little dog, that doesn't like moving about in the car and your kids have no legs.

Neither of my dogs will fit in the BRZ, that's what the Forester is for.
Same for family trips, we fit in the BRZ, but it wouldn't be comfortable or practicle for road trips, again, we have a Forester for that.

The BRZ is for my "Me" time....

You are kidding right? of all the criteria to make your decision you chose where the oil filter and fill hole is? really?

Kids will fit until say about 12 years. Pet friendly I don't know. But after a week of owning the car, go with the BRZ. What an amazing driving experience. Also, I don't plan to track the car either, so similar situation.
How did you get your wife to sit in that rear facing seat?

LOL... wife in the front seat, baby in the rear seat. Funny mental picture!

If you plan to keep the car even after you have kids/dogs, I'd say get the WRX. If you plan to get a new car before having kids/dogs, I'd get the BRZ.

My current car is a WRX, and I find it to be a good combination of practicality and fun. But let's be honest here. It's not a sports car. I have a few years to go before I have kids, so the BRZ/FR-S is really my last hurrah before becoming a chauffeur. My plan is to really enjoy a car like the BRZ/FR-S while I still can and then buy another WRX/STI when it's time to have kids.

A real man doesn't compromise.

Get the BRZ, keep it with the kid and the dog.

Gezz learn how to where the pants in the family. Kids these days.

What the hell do think the wife's car is for?
