Any feedback would be helpful.
Brought the fr-s on sat, using the grad program and waved the admin fee. The catch is, I had to pay in full before the fr-s arrive.

i just got the FR-S yesterday with the college grad program. i graduated in May of 2011 and from what the salesman was telling me, anyone who graduated within the past 2 years qualifies. so at the moment, a May 2010 graduation would be the cutoff.

My FR-S was also bought with the College Grad rebate. Dealer just took a copy of my diploma and sent it in with all the other finance paperwork to Toyota. It was not painful at all, and required little hassle.

Do tell. I graduated in May 2010, so I just missed the cutoff, but my wife is in grad school currently. I'm wondering if a spouse legitimately counts or if you got lucky.

Should work but you may have to have your wife co-sign.

well actually the salesman was telling me that May 2010 is the cutoff so you should be eligible. i would contact your nearest dealership to confirm this.

if she hasn't graduated she needs to prove that she will within the next 6months. Also she needs to be on the loan. in other words she needs to cosign.

you have to remember the cutoff date is 2 years after graduation. so if he graduated may 2010 his cut off is may 2012.

How To Qualify
Quote:

Have Graduated from an accredited four-year college, university, or registered nursing degree program during the last two years or graduated from such a school/program within the next 6 months;

Have graduated from an accredited two-year college during the last two years;

Be enrolled in an accredited graduate degree program or have received a degree from an accredited graduate program during the last two years;

Have graduated during the last two years from the two-year Toyota Technical Education Network (T-Ten) Program or any other
two-year post secondary automotive program;

Have completed an electrician apprenticeship/certification program during the last tow years through NJATC and the IBEW.

She is enrolled in an accredited graduate degree program...seems like that would work. I might just have to talk to a dealer, although it sounds like they know even less than most here.

I imagine this is correct, but it would make sense to allow all 2010 graduates to receive the discount considering they're ending the program in July of 2012. If it was a rolling program with no end point, I could see the 2 years being from date of graduation.

Anyway, it's not my fault they couldn't get me a car before May.
