The more you mess with it the more it will gap. Get new oem clips from toyota. The main headlight bracket has the clip that wears out and creates the gap closest to the light. Though getting the quick release works id rather have the oem stuff. Ihad the quick release and didnt like the way it looked so i had a shop fix the holes and repaint the bumper. I bought new brackets and ihave zero gap. Also boosted drive over 105 at times still bo gap.

I believe it comes down to patience when removing and installing the bumper. I removed mine very carefully and it poped back in 100% after my supercharger install.

I even had troubles with my side markers not staying in. Turns out that you have to pop the metal clip in with a pick because the fender isn't strong enough and flexes when you push the clip in.

This, I removed my bumper a few times already and not a single gap. But I did take 30 minutes each time for removal.

Me no do - me watch do.

The angle line of the buttons is different than seen before, to prevent buckling and warping of fender, and the eventual inevitable loosening of that front mount (according to the engineer who did do).

Move Over Racing made a quick-release bumper kit that fixes the gap. It's expensive for what you get, though, and you have to drill into the bumper.

UNCLEAN! BRING OUT YOUR DEAD !

Stay far away from that P.O.S. rip-off kit. No or incorrect instructions. Extremely expensive.

Just get the Q/R latches and use your own washers and spacers.
