I actually like having a project car that I can make my own. Basically, I would keep everything the same, except...

- I would add audio controls on the steering wheel (volume and track/station advance). Is that to much to ask.

It was actually a selling point for me that the wheel wasn't covered in controls. The HU is inly inches away from my hand and I will take the 1982 style cruise control stalk over buttons on the wheel spoke any day.

The only regular FR-S option I would want for my BRZ is the sliding arm rest. So I bought one and installed it.

I wish both cars had a black-reflector tail light option, because those chrome tails just look too ricey. But I fixed that with Tom's tails.

The single biggest deficiency in both cars, in my opinion, is the absence of a real oil pressure gauge.

Otherwise, I really wouldn't need a-la-carte options, because the FR-S really didn't have anything I wanted that isn't already on my BRZ.

I always liked this color scheme... a little toned down would be nice.

I'd buy my BRZ again, then immediately trade it in for this.

Done.

More (or less) realistically:

BRZ (my car currently):
Galaxy Blue Silica
Limited trim
Automatic
Driveway Labs V2 rear diffuser

Changes:
6cyl Boxer
Turbocharged
Interior trim of the BRZ Series.Blue Edition. It's all blue stitching and blue leather.
Duck tail spoiler.
EVERYTHING from Cusco, the braces, coilovers, control arms, oil cooler, etc. Going with the blue theme still.

That's about it.

I can appreciate an uncluttered steering wheel and I'm not interested in cruise control buttons on the wheel, only volume and track advance.

For me, the problem is most of the controls are accessible via touch screen (skip tracks, change stations) and the screens touch controls don't work so well or consistently. Not a good thing when you're driving.
