ummm since when do springs effect warranty? Unless the part is proven to cause the problem, you are fine.

The lowering springs at my dealership on the parts sheet are 800$... this is outrageous..

His warranty won't be effected unless the fault lies with the springs/shocks. Putting coilovers on a car does not void the warranty for the transmission or the motor. Some people are just paranoid.

Or just find a dealership that will install your eibachs. we do lifts and lowering springs on new toyotas all the time and it maintains factory warranty. not to mention i can't imagine springs ever affecting a warranty claim in the first place.
