The oft tune seems to be working well though, I'd been looking into getting a dyno tune and seems like for about the same price I'd have the ability to constant change with the oft. Just a bit wary of the lack of specificity with the oft

How the Q300 sounds with a catless header, I have no issues DDing this setup.

Thanks R. Paul and Cartman both. At work so I can't listen to the clip but I'll check it out later tonight.

Thanks for he advice once I do some more basic research I'll contact a local tuner and talk a bit more in detail.

Sorry for hijacking your thread Ripper, hope you get past the sound of the N1 and thanks for the warning and helping me decide on the 300

Nice!

I too am running the same set-up. Except, I have an invidia FP. I highly recommend flashing to an e85 map. Your butt dyno will notice a significant difference!

For me, it drones more around 4k-5k rpm. At times I wish it was a bit quieter in cabin but to be honest I love the way it sounds. I do wish it was a bit deeper like the older STi's but ehh. This will do for now

I hear you! Currently saving up right now --not sure which one to settle for though; PTuning or AVO. If I'm going to cough up a few racks I want to make sure I'm satisfied with it.

Then there's the Jackson Racing SC.....hmmm

well being in cali i don't know how much of a pain in the ass it will be to deal with emissions, i know JRSC has a carb options and i think works motorsport are working on a carb turbo kit.

Heard stories of people completely swapping their engines to stock engines for emissions time when they have custom setups. Whether its true or not, I don't know.

Update. Running the e85 stage 2 tune and feeling some good results. Cabin noise is still too loud for my taste but the added power is what I was looking for when I decided to upgrade the headers. Highly recommend UEL headers with OFT on e85.
