Two 10-pins, so whatever you take out, you connect it back into the harness.

But there's only one 16-pin connector.

Speaking of the 10-pin, I'm having a nightmare with this, it's not keyed correctly to the back of the head unit.

Why is this so difficult? Should've been easy, plug, and play.

I didn't do anything for the parking brake signal. You can verify the functionality in the diagnostics menu for the head unit (hold down the 3 buttons). As for the connector, I remember that mine didn't go all the way in but I never really looked into why it didn't because I didn't have any functionality issues.

How are the wires hooked up on that 16 pin connector? If I'm remembering correctly, they connect the parking brake to ground and do a bypass on the signal.

Basically, the original 16-pin connector has the parking wire on it, and only a park wire on it.

You pull out this 16-pin connector, plug in the autoharnesshouse 16-pin connector, and the original just dangles there since there's no 16-pin female connector on the harness.

You are right about the harness, the #3 pin is connects to the relay, which I guess is ground since they're using a black wire, but that bypass signal basically tells the HU that the parking brake is always on. When you're driving around it looks like this...

If the parking brake is "on", DRL's also will not turn on.

I tried splicing the original parking brake wire onto the #3 pin on the autoharnesshouse, and disconnecting it from the relay, but now all it does is turns "on" and "off", but DRL's still won't run...

Are you're DRL's working after using the harness? (When parking brake is "off", DRL's are running, when parking brake is "on", DRL's turn off).

Not really sure what to do here...

My drl's work as they should. I don't think you should have to mess with the harness, I never had to with mine...the old plug just hangs there.

I'll have to check my diagnostics screen tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure the parking brake signal works correctly.
